A BRIEF WORD ABOUT RESERVATIONS

We thought it might be helpful to give you a quick run-down of our
reservation practices here at Zanzibar for future reference:

~Anytime but Friday & Saturday nights we're delighted to take reservations
for any size party for Lunch, Sunday Brunch or Dinner, although reservations
for groups larger than 18 will have to go through another department.

~On Friday & Saturday evenings, we can only take reservations for parties
of 5 or more only. Experience has taught us that most of the year week-end
evenings are simply too busy to guarantee tables for smaller parties, and we're
from the old school--we like to think that a reservation means that a table
will be waiting for you when you arrive.

~On Friday & Saturday nights, however, we do welcome call--ahead seating,
up to a point, which, while it is not a reservation and does not promise a table
at a specific time, can save a great deal of waiting on certain especially busy
evenings. To get your name on this list, simply call us at 994-7777 anytime
after 5:00, when you leave the house or about an hour before you want to eat.

~The space here at Zanzibar lends itself particularly well to large groups,
anywhere from 12 to over 100, depending on the type of event. We can
generally guarantee a private or semi-private space, and additional
personal attention and specialized menu planning for groups larger than 18.
