What we do
We are a state licensed home daycare/preschool and Before/Aft school program located in Lake Zurich, Illinois
Our home daycare offers a loving, nurturing, learning environment for children ages 2 and up. Children sing, create crafts,listen to stories daily based around weekly changing themes. We learn about everything from "Dinosaurs", to "Coral Reefs".
We are open year round. Rates are $129 ft. and $65 Bef/Aft school.
Who we are
Kelly Peters runs the Little Petunia Daycare Center. She has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Ed. from Harper College in Palatine, IL.
Kelly has over 15 years experience running her own daycare home, and has established a reputation for dependability, honesty, and true caring for the children in her charge. Many of her daycare children have been with her many years, and some are younger siblings of those that are now too old to attend.
Kelly also belongs to several organizations that atttest to the quality of her program.
CCAFP: Child and Adult Food Program, which monitors daycares for nutritional meal servings to children which meet USDA guidelines.
LCCRR:Lake County Child Care Resource and Referral Organization, which offers up to date training of daycare providers.
