Her concerts at Chicago Jazz Festival and Woodstock’s 30th year music festival 1999 at Yasgurs Farm were well received by very receptive audiences. Hasu’s duets with Western Classical and Jazz musicians have delighted audience.

To her, Indian Classical music is a rare and sacred art, which calls for special attention and total Dedication – a Sadhana.
Hasu’s debut album Gayaki Sitar presents in her bold exposition of Alap (improvisation) embodies the very essence of pure classicism. The music is spiritual and meditational, and rendered as such to bring forth the transcendental experience of the moods. Gayaki Sitar has received good reviews on Internet (www.amazon.com).
