Ending Hunger
Description: PRC is a community based service organization that provides numerous human service programs to county residents who are in economic distress. Their food pantry, stocked entirely by donations, serves over 1,700 families a month. Other services include computer training and access, literacy training, job assistance, and a clothes closet. Support Needed: Monetary donations are always appreciated. Volunteer at food pantry, computer labs, clothes closet, or help with literacy training. Donate to Southminster’s special monthly offering to PRC on the first Sunday of the month. Buy a gift and/or help shoppers at the annual holiday PRC Share the Spirit Program. Southminster Involvement: $1000 donation from local mission budget. Southminster provides monthly donations to the Food Pantry, supports the annual Share the Spirit gift drive and sends a team of volunteers to help shoppers select gifts.
