I chose them because they were said to be docile and friendly. After I bought them I learned that those things are true.
At first when I got them I only showed at my county fair. But, after a few years, I started to show in Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Indiana, Ohio, and some other states. I strongly suggest that if you get birds that you show them in other places than just near your home. It is a lot of fun to show your birds! Also, when you show around, you meet famous chicken breeders and you get many tips. I still am learning different and better ways of caring, handling, breeding, and showing my birds.
