Paul Gazo: In Loving Memory

April 17, 1975 - October 1, 1997


Paul died at the age of 22, from a fall through a roof, while spray painting his identification, "SEB", on an abandoned building.  SEB stands for Straight Edge Bomber (painter.)

Paul was devoted to many interests and many friends.  After his death, Bill Janz of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel published a wonderful article about Paul.  To read it, click here.

Paul was a local leader of the Straight-Edge community.  This is a nationwide group of young people who have dedicated themselves to a chemical free, vegan (strict vegetarian) lifestyle.  Paul was also the lead vocalist in a hardcore band, Isolation, which was composed of straight-edge members.

Paul was heavily involved in bodybuilding and the martial arts.  In his last year of life, he studied the difficult and effective art of Muay Thai kickboxing.
