After several requests for an online petition, I inspected the options and chose a place called "ipetetions." I know it's a bad name, but it's a good site. They offered free membership along with the best privacy policy, fewest ads and the most neat stuff (even a bulletin board). This link lets you sign the petition.

If you're worried about the safety of your personal information, don't be. I set my page up to allow you to enter your name, city and e-mail (if you want updates), but the only question you're required to answer is the one about your favorite team. I also added a space for comments (though you can comment a lot more easily by just e-mailing me).

Direct From Pluto, the free, weekly e-mail newsletter of Terry Pluto, the award-winning sportswriter from the Akron Beacon-Journal, contained a multi-paragraph blurb about Fan Walkout Day. If you follow any of the Cleveland franchises, or just enjoy cogent prose about sports topics, this link will let you add yourself to the mailing list.
