Fan Walkout Day is a nationwide boycott of every major league game played on Sunday, July 7, 2002
We, the fans, are the people who control Major League Baseball. We make it possible for the owners and players to earn millions of dollars. We are disgusted by both sides. We don't want a strike, and we are telling both sides to settle their differences now.
If there is a strike, both sides had better be prepared to lose a lot of money, because Fan Walkout Day is our way of telling everyone that we will never, ever come back to a game if there is another strike
To have every game played on July 7, 2002 in stadiums that are as empty as possible, so both the owners and players have undeniable proof that baseball fans across the country are are fed up.
