Wish you could be heading for a top paying technology job?  Drafting is a trade that provides good income with interesting work.  Draftsmen make the drawings that help industry turn ideas into the technology of tomorrow.  UGS Solid Edge is a computer drafting (CAD) software used by automotive and aerospace manufacturers.  Why take a boring job, when you can be paid well for work that you can enjoy?  Drafting is also a good introduction to engineering and manufacturing too. 

The Clarkston Christian Association and the McMath Hulbert Astronomical Society are offering these classes here, and over the Internet.  We have workstations with UGS Solid Edge software at our location.  Students receive this educational CAD software FREE at our classes.  Even young students can learn: with Space Cad: You can design and build your own high power rocket designs!

To do this, we will teach a fast moving class. 

1.  We will begin with history, and manual drafting.   
2.  Then we will study computer drafting.  Learning is easy with Space Cad
     Software and  Alibre self teaching CAD on line.   
3.  You can design and build High power rockets  We will work with the
     Tripoli Rocketry Association to teach safe construction and launch
     procedures.
4.  Advanced students will provide drawings for real spacecraft. Students are     
     asked to do work on customer's rocket drawings as they have time
     available.
