Here are some tips that may help
you stay on program.
- Get that exercise in! Many people who have made
it to goal, have emphasized that exercise has really been key.
- Keep a squeeze bottle of lemon juice in the refridgerator
next to the cold water. Each time you refill your glass, squirt a little
lemon juice in it first to liven up the taste.
- Especially in the winter, take some of your servings
of water as herbal tea. Most of these teas contain no caffeine, sugar,
or best of all... points! I also find that hot drinks tend to curb hunger
a little.
- One meal a week, allow yourself to have something
"decadent." For example, on friday nights, we always have pizza.
I don't really worry about whether or not it fits into my points for the
day. If I deprive myself all the time, I won't stay on program very long.
This way I can be "good" the rest of the week, knowing that I
can eat whatever I want on friday night.
