The Classic U.S. Cavalry carbine of the Old West era
was undoubtedly the 1873 "Trapdoor" Springfield. The "Trapdoor" served
the Army through all the Indian campaigns on into the Spanish-American
War near the turn of the Century. This fine Davide Pedersoli reproduction
was a blued lockplate, blue barrel, case hardened breech block and
buttplate walnut stock and saddle bar with ring. Barrel: 22".
