1. William1 Mc Gregor  was born circa 1797 in Renfrew, Scotland. He married Margaret Taylor 3 August 1817 in Campsie, Sterling, Scotland. He died in 1877 in Peterboro, Ontario, Canada.

2. iv. William, born on 28 Jully 1826 in Glascow, Scotland. He married first, probably, Margaret Grainger , secondly Mary Jane  McKenzie  and thirdly Mary Jane Mc Donald.

2. William M.2 Mc Gregor(William1)was born 28 Jul 1826 in Glascow, Scotland. He  may have married Margaret Grainger 1849 in Peterboro, Ontario, Canada (based on an item in the Ontario Register); married Mary Jane McKenzie 27 Jul 1855; married Mary Jane McDonald circa 1877 in Pembina, Walsh Co, ND; died 10 Mar 1902 in Grafton, ND, at age 75.,

4.ii. Alexander was born 22 August 1857 in Canada. He married Ellen "Nellie" Barrett.

iv. John A. was born on 13 Oct 1860 in Canada.
v. Robert "Roy" was born on 22 Jun 1862 in Canada.
5. vi. William M. was born 8 September 1864 in Peterboro, Ontario,Canada. He married Mary Ellen Morrow.
vii. Duncan Francis was born on 15 Dec 1865 in Canada;he died on 1 Jan 1950 at age 84.
viii. Elizabeth Emma was born on 2 Feb 1867 in Canada; she died on 6 December 1883 in St.Cloud, MN, at age 16.
ix. Anna Mary was born on 13 Oct 1870 in Saulk Rapids,Benton Co, MN; she died on 20 Nov 1872 at age 2.

i. Cleveland Neil was born 7 January 1885 in the Dakota Territory. He died in 1927 in California.
ii. Elizabeth "Beth" was born 5 June 1887. She died 19 July 1978 in San Francisco, CA.
iii. May Olive was born 5 May 1889. She died 11 May 1980 in Bemidji, MN.
iv. Lillian Grace was born 27 February 1891. 3 May 1990. v. Kathryn Christine was born 8 June 1893. She died 5 October 1979.

3. Henry3 Mc Gregor(William2, William1); born 15 Mar 1856 in Peterborough, Ont., Canada.

He married Nellie M. Harris daughter of John Albert Harris and Lucy J. Edwards, 30 May 1878 in St.Cloud,MN.  The picture on the left is of Nellie with her grand daughter Mary Anne Frazier.  Nellie died on 1 June1945 in Helena, MT, at age 83.
Henry died on 10 December 1917 in Hinesdale, Montana at age 61.

i. Nellie Jane4 was born on 2 Mar 1879; she died on 22 Jul 1890 at age 11.
6. ii. Mabel Vivia, born 30 Jul 1881 in Minneapolis, MN; married Charles Edgar Secrest.
7. iii. Mildred Alene, born 20 Oct 1887 in St. Cloud, MN. She was always known as Alene.

She marriedWilliam Hardy Frazier. The picture above is from the early 1920s in Montana.
8. iv. Grace Dell was on  born 25 June 1889. She  married Frederick W. Hall.

4. Alexander3 Mc Gregor (William2, William1); born 22 Aug 1857 in Canada; married Ellen "Nellie" Barrett circa 1881; died circa 14 Mar 1911 in St. Cloud, Sterns Co, MN.

Children of Alexander3  Mc Gregor and Ellen "Nellie" Barrett were as follows:

9.i. William Edwin4 Sr, born 1880; married Edith Martin Clark.
ii. Effie was born in 1882; she died in 1943; never married.
iii. Walter Frederick was born in 1890; he married Eunice Hughes; no children; he died in 1976.

5. William M.3 Mc Gregor; his middle name has also been given as Franklin and Henry (William2, William1); born 8 Sep 1864 in Peterboro, Ontario, Canada; married Mary Ellen Morrow 16 Jun 1887 in St.Cloud, MN; He died in 1943 in McGregor, ND.

i. Edward Frank4 was born 23 October 1887. He died 5 April 1954 in Great Falls, MT.
ii. Elsie M was born 27 April 1894. She died 29 July 1967.
